Paneer Pakora Recipe | Paneer Pakoda | Indian Cheese Balls

Paneer Pakora… sounds like delicious food that I ever heard. Truly says, I just loved Paneer and also all paneer dishes. So for that reason, I started a separate category of all Paneer dishes on my site. I added all the possible Paneer recipes as I can and that will be published next. In my previous dish, I discuss “Paneer Butter Masala” and after that, I published this second one. Which is one of my favorite – “Paneer Pakora Recipe“.

This recipe is also famous as the name of “Paneer Pakoda“, actually it’s just a local language nothing else. I noticed in 90% of places they make pakora with Paneer cubed or paneer piece and that is also very much tasty, but I decide to make a new style of Paneer pakora and I think you all like this. So please let me know in the comment section.

Pokora recipe(s) A common food recipe made by almost every Indian family. Probably almost all vegetables are prepared for this delicacy and are served as snacks, side dishes, and even used in curries or sabzis. My personal favorite has always been a Paneer pakora recipe and nothing can beat its pinch and wet taste combination. The traditional Pokoda recipe was traditionally limited to families in North India. But after onboarding this easy recipe by street food vendors, it has become significantly popular among urban youth. Moreover, there are various variations in this pakora, especially with its cover. After coating with the besan flour, crushed oats, breadcrumbs and etc. Or you can make paneer pakora recipe in different styles like chili paneer pakora, paneer fritters pakora, etc. You get from paneer pakora calories 396. Paneer Pakora Recipe

Paneer Pakora Recipe – It's a very popular dish which can make easily and very quickly.

For Marination or Pakora Balls

  • 250 grams Fresh Cottage Cheese
  • 1 pcs Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaf (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Green Chilli (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Black Pepper powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Oil

For batter

  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Cornflour
  • As per taste Salt
  • 1 pinch Red chilli powder
  • 2 pinch Black pepper powder

For coating

  • 2 cup Breadcrumbs
  1. Firstly chopped all the vegetables nicely and keep all in a separate bowl.

  2. Take the paneer and chopped finely with a knife, otherwise, you can be grated the paneer and take in a large bowl.

  3. Now add chopped onions, chilies, coriander leaf, chopped ginger, garlic with the grated paneer and mix all.



  4. Add 2 tbsp flour, pepper powder, cumin powder, salt, and 1 tbsp oil.

  5. Mix all well and make that like a dough. Thereafter make small balls with your hands and place it aside.

Make the Batter

  1. In a bowl, add 1/2 cup all-purpose flour,  2 tbsp cornflour, salt as per taste, 1 pinch red chili powder, 2 pinch black pepper powder.

  2. Add little water and mix well. Keep noticed that the batter has to make little thin.

Coating the Pakora Balls

  1. You need Breadcrumbs. It's easily available in the grocery shops. Otherwise, you can make it home. Just put the slices of bread in a mixture grinder and your homemade breadcrumbs are ready. You need to fry it little to store.

  2. Press the paneer balls in hand and pour it into the batter. Then put into the breadcrumbs and make a nice coat of breadcrumbs. After doing this keep them aside.



  3. Now heat a pan with oil. Put all the pakora balls one by one in the pan.

  4. Fry it gently in low flame. and put out the pakoras in a container to release the extra oil from it.

  5. Serve it with Tomato sauce or coriander chatni instantly.

For making the dough of Paneer Pakora Recipe

Firstly take a large bowl and nicely grate the paneer. If not possible you can be chopped it finely with a sharp knife.

In another place, chopped all the vegetables like onions, ginger, garlic, coriander, green chili nicely.

Now add chopped onions to the bowl.

Then add chopped ginger, chopped garlic and chopped coriander leaf with it.

After that, add all the spices like salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and 1 tbsp oil. [You can also use baking soda and chaat masala with it for more taste. But it’s optional.]

Also, add the flour (All purpose flour).

Then mix all ingredients.

Add a little amount of water (2-3 tbsp) and mix it well and make it like a dough. (like pizza dough)

Put it for 15-20 minutes in a refrigerator.

Let’s make the batter

Take another mixing bowl, put 1/2 cup all-purpose flour and 2 tbsp cornflour in it. (you can also use rice flour)

Add 1 pinch red chilli powder and 2 pinch black pepper powder, also with salt as per taste.

Add some water and mix it to make a batter. Keep notice that the batter must have too little thin. You can also use gram flour as the substitute for all-purpose flour.

For coating

For coating, you need breadcrumbs. It’s easily available in any grocery shop. But if you want then you can make it home. Just take some slice of bread and grind it in the mixture. That’s it.

Take the breadcrumbs on a plate and take the batter in a side of it. Also, take some flour in a bowl.

After that put the balls in the batter.

Then again put the balls in breadcrumbs one by one and make a nice coat.

Place all the batter-coated pakora balls on a plate aside.

Frying or Final process

Now heat a pan with oil. It’s better if you use a half pan of oil.

After heat, the oil, put the pakora balls one by one in the hot oil.

Fry well and continue up to the pakora balls become golden brown. Deep frying pakora is the most delicious.

Now keep out the pakora balls from pan.

Quickly serve this with your family or guest with sauce or with green chutney.
