Cross Cookies

I’ve eaten cookies before. Easter is coming, and I wanted to make a new style cookie this year. So I decided to make these cross cookies. If you are surprised to hear this I will say no more. Here I will explain in detail how this cross cookie is made.

Easter Cross Cookies

Cookies are loved by everyone. We also know that cookies can be of different types, flavors, and shapes. Here's a recipe for making these special cross cookies for Easter day.

  • 1 cup Flour
  • ⅓ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ⅛ tbsp Baking Powder
  • Salt (as per requirement)
  • 1 tbsp Mayoneese
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • ½ tbsp Vanilla Extract
  1. In a bowl, combine the butter, eggs, mayonnaise, sugar, and vanilla. Then whisk them well until they are well mixed and the cream is ready.

  2. Then add the flour, baking powder, and salt and mix well with a fork. See that the whole mixture is well mixed but has to be crumbly.

  3. If not with a fork, mash the dough well with your hands.

  4. Now roll the dough on a flat desk. Keep in mind that it is about 1/4" thick.

  5. Use a cookie cutter to cut cookies in cross style. Then place those sliced ​​cookies in a baking tray on a parchment paper.

  6. Bake them at 350°F for about 6 minutes.

  7. Then if it looks like the cookies are not baked well, you can bake them for a while.

  8. Then leave them in the baking tray for about 5 minutes to cool. Then put them in a cookie jar.

  1. Let the cookies cool on the tray before they are picked up. Because when it is hot, it is possible to break.
